Preparation

  1. Crumble butter cookies finely in the Quick Cut and mix until crumbly with peanut butter. Grease weck jars, spread crumble in the jars and press lightly.
  2. Peel ginger and grate it finely. Wash one orange with hot water and grate one half of the peel finely.
  3. Fillet both oranges, peeling off the entire white skin and cutting out the fillets from the skin in between using a sharp knife.
  4. Cut orange fillets in small pieces and spread on the cookie crumble.
  5. Mix remaining ingredients with the orange peel and ginger and place inside the jars. Jars should be filled only up to half at the most.
  6. Place GourmetLine on Navigenio and set it at level 6. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears.
  7. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps by reaching the roasting window, place Softiera insert inside (without clamps), place jars in it.
  8. Place GourmetLine in the inverted lid and place Navigenio upside down. Set at low level. While the Navigenio flashes red/blue, enter approx. 25 minutes on the Audiotherm and bake.
  9. In the meanwhile, place the clean rubber rings in hot water.
  10. Take out the done cake jars from the GourmetLine (using a hand towel). Place rubber rings on them immediately, close with lids and fasten with suitable clamps. Let them cool done.

Tip: Cake in jars keeps approx. 1 month. Store the jars in a cool and dark place. The metal clamps can be removed the next day, but check from time to time if the jars really remain closed.
