  1. Incise chestnuts crosswise with a sharp knife and place in pot. Only place as many chestnuts in the pot that the base is nearly completely covered.
  2. Cover pot with lid. Place pot on Navigenio and set it at level 6. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears.
  3. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the roasting window, place pot in inverted lid. Place Navigenio upside down on it and set at high level. While the Navigenio flashes red/blue, enter approx. 5 minutes in the Audiotherm and roast chestnuts. Now and then shake the pot to toss the chestnuts.
  4. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps at the end of the cooking time, switch off Audiotherm and Navigenio. Keep Navigenio on a further 5 minutes to bake the chestnuts until done, using the residual heat. 


Tip: Use fresh chestnuts for roasting. You will identify them by their weight. Fresh chestnuts are heavier than old ones or even worm-eaten stuff. You can quite easily test this: Fresh chestnuts sink in water to the bottom, the old float to the top.
