Preparation

  1. Prepare baking mix according to the instructions on the pack. Mix egg yolk and milk. Knead dough well once again and divide into six portions. 
  2. First shape each portion into a thick roll. Separate approx. 1/3 of it for the head and shape into a circle. Cut into the lower part of the oval in the middle to form two legs. In the same way, make a small cut on both sides to get two arms.  
  3. Cut out a circle from baking paper using a lid. Place pot on Navigenio and set it at level 6. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears.
  4. Smear Santa Clauses with the mixed egg yolk. Place a raisin or almond flake for the eyes and mouth. Sprinkle with pearl sugar as desired. 
  5. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the roasting window, switch off Navigenio and place baking paper inside the pot.  
  6. Place two Santa Claus bodies on the baking paper, place a head each in the right position and press them onto the body lightly. 
  7. Place pot in the inverted lid and first place the switched off Navigenio on it. Prebake approx. 5 minutes.  
  8. Then set Navigenio at low level. While the Navigenio flashes red/blue, enter approx. 8 minutes in the Audiotherm and bake until light brown. 
  9. Bake the remaining Santa Clauses in the same way, setting the pot on the Navigenio at level 3 always for layering and finishing the Santa Clauses.  
  10. Then place the switched off Navigenio on it and prebake approx. 5 minutes. Finally bake until done at low level approx. 8 minutes using the Audiotherm. Let the Santa Clauses cool down on a cake rack.
